.2 GHz “200 MHz” is not going to give you a noticeable performance boost. It may take slightly longer “a few second to encode a video” but in real world use it will not be noticeable.

You can also simply get the I7 2.2 GHz and overclock it 200 Mhz to get to the same level of performance as an I7 running @ 2.4 GHz. This is an extremely low overclock and shouldn’t even generate noticeable heat “and in my opinion not worth it ” But if you wanted to make the 2.2 GHz I7, a 2.4 it would be easy to do “even on a non K I7″.
