Is this a good laptop?

I’m getting a laptop so I can play my games at friends houses etc.

I’ thinking of getting “Medion Erazer X6811″ laptop with an “i7-740QM” processor and a “GTX460M” graphics card. is this good for gaming and what would you say is the highest quality game it could run perfectly (On standard settings)?

Could you also tell me if this is a good gaming laptop aswell? an “MSI GE620″, it has an “Intel core i7″ processor and a “Ge Force GT 540M” graphics card. Is this better than the above laptop, and could you also tell me the highest quality game it could run perfectly?

The first one has a screen resolution 1920×1080 whereas the second one (which i’m more interested in) only has a screen res of 1366×768.

When I play these games I’ll still be using a lower resolution than the second one, but can you also tell me that if the resolution of the game i’m playing is nearer it’s highest capacity, can it slow the game/computer down?

both laptops you mentioned will work extremely well for quality games, mainly because of your processor. i would choose to go with the Ge Force GT 540m because im using one similar to yours right now . trust me, dont worry about the games. you’ll definitely be able to run them.
