Core i7 / i5 / i3 / Pentium / Celeron ,socket LGA1155.

I recommend you run i5 / i7 “unlocked” processors. This is because that Z68 chipset is meant to run with the “k” designated chips, so you could overclock them to make them faster. The motherboard allows for overclocking on these three processors:

In addition, you could go for the cheaper / weaker i3 2100, i3 2100Ti3 2120, i3 2140, i5 2300, i5 2310, i5 2320, i5 2400, i5 2400s, i5 2500, or i7 2600. However, it’s a bit of a waste of your motherboard potential (as those can’t overclock).
