Dilemma written by : Is this laptop worth 00 (including tax and coupons)?

Okay I’m planning to get an “HP Pavilion DV6T Quad Edition [w.e. that means...]” notebook computer. It would initially be $ 1,210; and taxes are $ 84. I’m using a -$ 300 coupon, so the order subtotal is $ 1,002.

I’m pretty terrible at building my own PCs, let alone a notebook PC. And yes, I’m looking specifically for a laptop.

@ Michael : I’m sorry; although I’m looking for whether no not this laptop is worth it, there is simple no way a $ 600 notebook computer could have an Intel Core i7 in it or a ATI Mobility Radeon 6570 GPU in it…

i think 2nd generation intel core i7 is better..! and yes it’s worth it..! take it..:) have excellent ram and graphic card..! so.. take it..:)

yes it looks good but i don’t care what it has in it no laptop is worth 1000 buck’s i paid 400 for my laptop and it has most of the same features in it and it works just as good as the more expensive ones !

No i would say a computer like that would be worth 500-600 dollars your getting riped off.

This laptop is actually pretty good, however, to make it better, i suggest to get a 7200 rpm harddrive and also a better battery

Well first of all, the new i7 2630 is worth the money, but this combined with the 6570 will cause the battery to be used up in like 3 hours. (if u want more battery, buy a less powerful/cheaper laptop otherwise a desktop would be a better solution)

simply 2nd gen is better as at takes less battery and is faster
