i think its kinda good similar to what my friend has.

ya i havent bought yet, but this is the set up

nah i cant go for the extreme, too much for my budget. maybe in the future

antec 900 already has like 3 or 4 or 5 fans, not to mention an extra fan going in, i think thats rather plenty. and im sticking with the i7, not deluxe. and not doing water cooling. my OS will be the windows 7

This sounds pretty good, If you cant try to go for the extreme edition of the i7, but if you already bought the 2.66GHz then it’s still good.

Get a better CPU cooler. I recommend the best air cooler out there for even less than the Noctua SE1366 ($ 64.99 Prolimatech Megahalem). Make sure you buy a 120mm fan to go with it (Yate Loons, Scythe, even Noctua). Then you can O.C. the hell outta it if ya want. Get a good thermal paste such as IC7 as well.

If you are deadset on getting the mid-tower from Antec get the 902 case. Better cable management(under the motherboard) for better airflow. If your open to a full tower…get the Antec 1200 (and 2 120mm Antec Tri-Cools) for uber coolness.

Dont waste your money with the extreme edition of the i7. I can tell you from experience that you can overclock the 920 to meet or beat any of the benchmarks by the other i7′s. But I would recommend spending a bit more on a good water cooling system. And if your going that far, you might as well step up to 12 gigs of ram and vista 64 bit. Vista’s not nearly as bad as most people make it out to be when you have a system that can actually handle it.

Know far better?
